Bisnode acquires leading marketing solutions provider in Germany

Bisnode has aquired Global Group, one of the leading full-service marketing providers for multi-channel communication for German speaking countries

Stockholm, Darmstadt, March 16, 2017 – Bisnode acquires Global Group as part of achieving its strategy of expanding its consumer data footprint across its European markets, as well as moving into next generation data-driven marketing services. Global Group, based in Idstein, Germany, has revenue of approximately EUR 10,5m and is one of the leading B2C and B2B marketing providers for the German-speaking world. The company has strong customer relationships with top national and multinational brands, a sophisticated marketing service portfolio and one of Germany’s best and proprietary consumer databases.

Global Group, with its team of 55 employees, will continue to operate from its offices in Idstein in close cooperation with Bisnode Germany. Global Groups CEO, Frank Meier-Gerßler, will become a member of the German and DACH management teams. The transaction is expected to close by the end of April.
